SE Lab PRE-1S

The SE Lab PRE-1S is a purist signal-management system engineered for absolute transparency and long-term stability.

By combining high-performance analog amplification with wear-free solid-state switching, the architecture eliminates the signal degradation and noise floor variability inherent in traditional mechanical potentiometers. The internal topology is optimized for high-density, low-interference routing.

Using precision-matched integrated op-amps and a custom PCB layout, the circuit achieves exceptional phase linearity and an ultra-low noise floor (up to 124 dBA).

All front-panel controls function as low-voltage command triggers, ensuring the critical audio path remains electrically isolated from the user interface.

Precision is central to the design: the 64-step volume array (1.25 dB per step, 78.75 dB total damping range) operates exclusively at the signal zero-crossing to prevent switching artifacts, with channel synchronization of ±0.05 dBr.

Complemented by a high-current output stage with ultra-low impedance (22 Ω RCA / 44 Ω XLR), the SE Lab PRE-1S maintains total transient integrity across any cable length or input load.

This is a reference-grade interface built for clinical precision and consistent performance over years of intensive use.

icOn 5 Dual

The Dual version is a true high-end Jolly Joker autoformer-based line control unit. It features both RCA and XLR input and output sockets, making it an ideal match for most audiophiles with both analogue (like vinyl) and digital sources (DAC, CD player). It offers remarkably precise volume adjustment capabilities, spanning 136 steps within an 83 dB range. The Dual has a fully passive analogue signal path between the RCA sockets and active, electronically balanced circuits between the XLR sockets.

The inclusion of the optional input buffer, coupled with the lower inductance autoformers, along with the finely adjustable volume control in increments of 0.5 dB and the tilt control, results in an astonishingly lifelike auditory experience.

Features:

Unprecedented 136 steps over an 83 dB attenuation range

0.5 dB steps from +3 dB to -47 dB with the buffer and 1 dB from -48 dB to -80 dB or without the buffer

Unbalanced operation between the RCA sockets, electronically balanced between the XLR sockets

1 RCA + 1 XLR input & 1 RCA + 1 XLR output

Improved linearity and transparency due to the new, lower inductance autoformer

The silver winded autoformers are our own production with 80% Ni core

Optional input buffer for the total source compatibility

FET switches for the autoformer taps' selection

Max. input level: 8V RMS (22.6 Vpp)

Balance, mute and standby mode

Optional tilt control (defeat-able) with 8x0.5 dB steps for fine-tuning the record and room acoustic imbalances

Remote-controlled output selector

Large (0.8") 3-digit white or orange display with 2 brightness and night mode

Apple remote-compatible IR remote controller

Optical encoder and touch button for the manual operations

90mm high BLACK enclosure (W 124mm x L 260mm)

"Power" users can increase the number of inputs anytime with the icOn I/O Expander (+2 RCA & 2 XLR sockets)

Spatial Audio Lab Raven

Part of the Revelation series, the Raven linestage preamplifier brings Western Electric technology into the 21st Century.

Like the classic WE line drivers of the 1930's, it is transformer coupled throughout, input and output, and fully balanced for minimum distortion.

The 21st Century enters the picture with ultra low noise power supplies for B+ high voltage and heater supplies, and the state-of-the-art Khozmo volume control, with remote control (standard) and 0.5 dB left-to-right balancing ... on the remote, so you don't need to get up to make precise corrections while you listen.

For maximum flexibility, the preamp has both RCA single-ended and XLR balanced inputs, so it matches a wide variety of phono preamps, DACs, SACD players, and analog tape decks. Similarly, the output is both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA (at the same time). For maximum convenience, there's also a 1/4" headphone jack for high-impedance headphones (300 ohms or greater).

Unlike other vacuum-tube preamps, there's a custom designed wideband output transformer with a 1:4.5 stepdown ratio. As the ratio implies, this multiplies the signal current from the 6SN7 more than four times, making the Raven preamp a tiny power amplifier as much as it is a preamplifier.

The input transformer might seem unnecessary with its 1:1 ratio, but it breaks any possible ground loops between multiple sources and the rest of the system. All of the inputs "float" so there is no electrical connection between the inputs and the sensitive circuits of the Raven. The only connection is the magnetic link between primary and secondary of the transformer. Transformer isolation has been the professional solution in telephone, radio, television, and recording studios since the 1930's, and applies just as well to home audio with multiple sources.

The Raven is a completely different approach than the "Golden Age" circuits of the 1950's and 1960's. It reaches back to the Western Electric of the 1930's and embraces the future with advanced power supplies and modern volume controls.

Lorenzo Audio Labs 2A3

Lorenzo Audio Labs presents the perfect companion to its impressive 211PP monophonic power amplifiers, the new 2A3 preamplifier  with two chassis.

Following Lorenzo Audio's philosophy, only the best quality is allowed, both in terms of sound, design, and construction.

For this reason, as in the 211PP amplifiers, 40mm thick Panzerholz wooden bases are used in the main chassis and the power supply unit.

The 2A3 tube sockets are also CNC-milled from Panzerholz wood, as are the housings for the capacitors and the feet of the preamplifier. No detail is left out to achieve maximum sound quality.

Regarding its internal design, its most remarkable features are:

- Dual power supplies, one for high voltage and the other for filaments only, to minimize noise.

- With 80,000 uf, two chokes make this preamp with the magnificent Emission Labs 2A3 tube absolutely silent.

- Duelund coupling capacitors to achieve maximum naturalness and transparency.

- High voltage filtering system with MKP capacitors and 3 independent chokes.

- Zero negative feedback.

- High-resolution 66-step volume control operated via remote control.

- 6 RCA inputs and 2 RCA outputs

- Panzerholz chassis.

- 2A3 tube sockets CNC machined from Panzerholz wood, unique in the world.

The world launch of the 2A3 Preamplifier will be in the High End Munich, Hall 2, F12 / H01.

Goldmund Mimesis Reference

In the realm where technology's artistry breathes life into music records, we unveil the Mimesis Reference Analogue Preamplifier. A masterstroke of innovation, this masterpiece is poised to redefine the boundaries of sonic clarity and purity.

Driven by Class A Output Stage Drivers, this preamplifier is a maestro of minimalism, employed to guarantee the lowest Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and Intermodulation Distortion (IMD). The Mimesis Reference defies convention with its mastery over Ultra-Low Transient Intermodulation Distortion (TIM).

We have diligently separated the analogue and digital circuits. Custom audio-grade transformers are employed to drive each section of the preamplifier, ensuring optimal performance. Each side (left & right) of the preamplifier has its dedicated power supply, enhancing channel separation. An additional separate power supply is dedicated to driving the digital section of the preamplifier.

The result? A harmonious soundscape that resonates with authenticity and captures the very essence of the music. Every delicate transition, every crescendo, is imbued with a purity that embraces the essence of true fidelity.
