PMC MB2 Deluxe

The MB2 Deluxe is an exclusive edition of the prestigious and highly regarded MB2SE. Aesthetics and audio have been addressed with refinement in both areas which has resulted in a loudspeaker of unsurpassed stature and sonic transparency.

The faces of the entire cabinet of Deluxe edition features hand selected and book-matched leaves of the exotic and rare Santos Rosewood. The depth and figuring far outshine anything that can be produced synthetically with a smooth, silk like finish completing a highly sophisticated and tasteful design.

The introduction of a supreme quality high frequency unit augments the already razor sharp and tangible audio soundstage. The new unit is a highly engineered 25mm SONOTEX™ coated soft dome device that incorporates a circular array of six neodymium magnets rather than a standard ferrite ring arrangement. This feature significantly reduces distortion and teamed with the redesigned rear chamber that absorbs all unwanted resonances making its high frequency output entirely natural, smooth and beautifully wide ranging.

The statuesque high mass stand has been engineered with an additional 10mm solid steel, laser cut plinth on the base that not only adds all important mass but also stability. This addition has a profound effect on the speed and definition of the low frequency. Deep bass notes attack with far greater impact and subtle textures are made palpable. Precise levelling and decoupling is provided by oversized, eye catching cones that are easily secured in place by additional threaded rings.

The British designed gold plated binding posts are connected with a newly designed flat bridging bar allowing for all types of spade connection as well as the conventional 4mm style connector.

Tobian Sound Systems LS 15FH & 12FH

Questions to Günter Tobian:

What is the reason to expand the portfolio with the LS 12, 15 FH?

As you know in terms of homogeneity is the coaxial the number one but with one drawback!! The limitation of the driver size and physical limits like size of Magnets because you have two on an axes in the same orientation or direction.

So and the FH series have no limits, better Bass , mid and high quality are also better. The 12FH has a 4.0 inch high mid driver ... unbelievable and the 15FH and 18FH a 4.4 inch mid high driver.

The Bass driver has a BL factor from 26.60 T x L and the 15FH 32 T x L so I think this is World record in this class.

Three and a half years I have developed that the FH series’s plays just as homogeneously as the coaxial but with all the advantages of the FH chassis why develop three an half years , musicality and homogeneity cannot be measured, this is only through countless listening hours, prototypes and comparisons.

Will there be other new models in addition to the LS 12, 15, 18FH?

Yes, we are currently working on a version above the LS 18FH. This is a very special speaker. Added to this time ...

Soulines The Loop Phono Stage

€3090

The Loop phono pre-amplifier is based around pair of NOS ECF80 tubes, employed in the RIAA equalization and MM gain stage, utilizing unique passive RIAA curve equalization, thus providing very neutral sound along with the natural tonal colors of the voices and instruments. The Loop is essentially hand made product, utilizing only components which are carefully selected and matched.

MC step up gain section is done with J-fets in SMD technology, providing a high MC gain suitable for wide range of MC cartridges, along with MC input impedance (MC load) set-up feature for three most common loads, 50ohm, 100ohm and 200ohm, select-able by micro-switches at the back panel of the unit.

NOS ECF80 tubes and all the parts and elements are rigorously hand selected and matched, after extensive measuring and listening tests, in order to provide a great performance. ECF80 tube sets should last for more than 5000 hours, and matched pairs of NOS ECF80 tube sets are available as spare parts.

When designing the all aluminum case-enclosure, we employed our extensive experience from the turntable design and construction, utilizing 10mm thick aluminum panels, strategically damped and solid aluminum cones-feet damped by rubber-cork washers, doing everything in order to provide a stable mechanical base for the electronics and tubes to work.

Along with the standard 230VAC power supply version, 115VAC power supply version is available as well, differing from the standard version only by the different values of mains transformer and fuse used.
